Horseback riding in the green woods of Umbria is just an incredible experience. There are several stables that offer this kind of activity. What we do at True Umbria is focused on children. We teach them how to approach a horse and make friends with him. For kids over the age of 6, we gently put them on the horse and offer the family a great photo opportunity. It is a simple, and super safe activity. It will be a lot of joy to the little ones and can potentially mean for them the beginning of a long path of love for horses.
This activity can be combined with a visit to a local stable where we can feed animals, and that is always a lot of fun.
